About
Alfi Anfahsa — Informatics Engineering Student
I am currently an Informatics Engineering student at Bakrie University (GPA 3.75). My technical foundation started back in vocational high school (SMKN 71 Jakarta, Software Engineering / RPL), where I learned to appreciate practical code and solid fundamentals early on.
On the web side, I build practical software applications like Praktis (a dual-database LMS combining MySQL and MongoDB) and explore IoT/ML integrations through projects like GrowMyBaby during Samsung Innovation Campus Batch 5. Rather than reaching for every new framework, I enjoy evaluating why specific tools fit specific problems.
Beyond web development, I have a deep interest in OS internals and infrastructure. I actively run and maintain Arch Linux on my old machine, configure basic network security with nftables over Tailscale, and set up headless remote desktop pipelines using Sunshine and Moonlight. Currently, I am expanding my setup to self-host 24/7 services and learn how to red-team my own infrastructure.
I also care a lot about developer ergonomics—I built and maintain my own custom Lua-based Neovim environment on Windows 11 to keep my workflow fast and keyboard-centric.
